  9. PrintManager v39 is a so called printer-spooler, it intercepts all printer.
  10. device calls to the parallel-/serial.device and saves the printer specific 
  11. raw data to a file. This way, programs sending data to the printer don't have 
  12. to wait for the slow printer to continue. PrintManager also gives you some 
  13. control over the data send to the printer. You can even print files directly 
  14. from inside PrintManager using the datatypes-system.

  16. FEATURES
  17.  ° caches only printer.device calls
  18.  ° can cache all calls to parallel-/serial.device
  19.  ° allows to exclude certain tasks from spooling
  20.  ° nice gui which works with proportional fonts 
  21.  ° files can be printed from inside Printmanager (uses datatypes.lib)
  22.  ° works with datatypes.library v45 (v45 recommend, not required!)
  23.  ° own FAST parallel.device (registered version only)
  24.  ° localized
  25.  ° after reset/crash unfinished printings are recovered
  26.  ° delayed printing
  27.  ° print count function
  28.  ° allows to redirect printing to another device
  29.  ° upto 8 devices can be spooled

  32. REQUIREMENTS
  33.  any Amiga (compatible) computer with at least AmigaOS3.0 and (of course:-)
  34.  a printer.

  36. NOTE
  37.  Although this program is based on Printmanager 2.0 by Nicola Salmoria, 
  38.  no part of the Printmanager v39 code has been taken from Nicolas
  39.  version (it is a complete new program)!

  41. HISTORY SINCE LAST RELEASE
  42.  39.23    new option ENUM=FULLNAME/S <Marcin Orlowski>. spool.device uses async
  43.      doublebuffering to speed up saving and printing, especially printers
  44.      with large buffers will profit from it.
